Ralph Widdicomb was a member of the founding family and served as a designer for John Widdicomb Co. during the company’s mid-century production years. This piece likely dates to the late 1940s to 1950s.
The lowboy was fully refinished in a custom two-tone palette matched to Farrow & Ball Hague Blue, with contrasting banding matched to Farrow & Ball Inchyra Blue. The updated finish gives the piece a bold, layered look while preserving its original proportions, detailing, and brass hardware.
